Anne Marie Langsig (1960) – She killed the cupboard

13 Nov , 2021

Traveling through Scandinavia,  I learned that they have many mythological beings, including trolls, giants, elves, elves, dwarves, and others. However, I never believed that I would ever meet any of them until I met Anne Marie. Usually, it’s not easy because they hide their natural face, especially elves. However, if you observe them long enough, you will slowly discover them. Last night, in the imaginative ambiance of Lorenzo and Kakalmaba, I realized that Anne Marie is an elf who simply helps when it is the hardest. How else to describe her arrival in war-ravaged Banja Luka to help on behalf of Caritas, but since she sees the degree of destruction of the system, she installed a real Danish mobile hospital and helped people with everything from medicines to expensive medical devices. Then she met my godfather Nebojsa (http://www.plustri.com/en/1000-portreta/nebojsa-dukic-1962-dobrica-good-doer/ )  and took him to Denmark. She helped him learn Danish, license his diploma, and become a family medicine specialist in addition to his pediatric surgery specialization. However, even elves cannot prevent everything. Nebojsa’s chronic illness prevented them from achieving everything they had imagined. Things developed the way they do with incurable diseases, people close to Nebojsa started to fall apart, but Anne Marie never left him. I expected the most from Nebojsa’s first wife and son, who are doctors, but it was a complete fiasco and disgrace. I witnessed the mismanagement of his family as well, and I was tempted entirely several times. The system did not work in Serbia, and it seems that Nebojsa was better understood in Denmark in a foreign language. He spent a lot of time there and seemed to be fine. However, every visit to Serbia showed the opposite. He lived in his apartment in New Belgrade, insufficiently helped by all of us. Probably that is why the arrival of Anne Marie was important. How many things were on the repair list, from windows, electricity, to the replacement of furniture parts. And all this is done by a Danish woman in Belgrade. And to tidy up the apartment, she had to throw out his old cupboard. Since she had no one to help her, she broke it to pieces and took it out. As she said, “I killed the cupboard,” I thought how nice it is when someone breaks the cupboard for you.

Normalno to nije jednostavno, jer oni kriju svoje pravo lice, pogotovo elfovi. Ipak ako ih posmatrate dovoljno dugo, polako ih otkrijete. I to sve radi jedna Dankinja u Beogradu.
