Verovatno retko imate priliku da trenirate sa šampionom. I to ne sa običnim nego sa pravim. A to je onaj koji još uvek ima snage da inspiriše druge i da pobeđuje. Mi živimo u maloj zemlji i da nema takvih ljudi prestali bi da postojimo u onome što navodno najviše volimo, a to jе sport. Da ga zaista volimo onda bi upravo podržali ljude kao Viktora. Međutim, Beograd i Srbija to ne prepoznaju. Još uvek se sećam jednog prijema kod gospodina Bandića, gradonačelnika Zagreba. Bez imalo ustezanja nam je objasnio da su Cibona i Dinamo brendovi Zagreba i da grad njima dalje milionske sume da bi opstali. Bez ideje da licitiram, jer sam zaboravio, ostao sam zaprepašćen, jer naši brendovi Crvena Zvezda i Partizan ne dobijaju ni bazen. Tačnije, Partizan ima svoj bazen, ali se nalazi u velikom finansijskom minusu, a Zvezda nema. Sećam se razgovara sa direktorom bazena Gale Muškatirović, koji se žalio na dug Crvene Zvezde. Pa da smo mi normalno društvo ljudi bi sigurno glasali da Zvezda ne plaća bazen. Pa i sam Gale je bio vaterpolista. Na kraju krajeva vlasnik bazena je društvo i zašto se uopšte plaća bazen. Ni moj ronilački klub nema svoje termine, već se dovija. Ali mi nismo osvojili ligu šampiona i ne radimo sa mladim sportistima, odnosno ne predstavljamo budućnost ove zemlje. A Viktor čini sve da to održi, a ima tako malo pomoći. Dug je to hod od zlata na svetskom prvenstvu u Pertu 1991. godine do prvaka lige šampiona 2013. godine da bi Viktor to i dalje radio sam.

So if we were a normal society, people would certainly vote that the Red Star does not pay the pool. And Gale himself was a water polo player. After all, the owner of the pool is a society and why the pool is paid at all. My diving club does not have its own term, it is surviving somehow. But we have not won the Champions League and do not work with young athletes and we do not represent the future of this country. And Viktor does everything to keep it going, but he has so little help. It’s a long walk from the gold at the World Championship in Perth in 1991 to the Champions League champions in 2013 so that Victor should still be working alone.
