Baš opušteno veče.Kratki sastanak i dogovori za nastupajuću godinu, a onda večera sa prijateljima. Došao je i Profesor. Mislim da mu je bilo drago da nas vidi sve zajedno, raspoložene i nasmejane. Ako ni zbog čega drugog onda zbog toga što smo sačuvali Udruženje koje je on napravio, pre 22 godine. Danas je to prava retkost. Ljudi ne poštuju trud prethodnika. Većina misli da je sve počelo od njih. Nisu u stanju da rade timski. Nemaju zajedničkih rezultata. Nema iskrenih odnosa. Čini se da smo i profesor i mi u svemu tome imali i malo sreće. Ne samo da smo sačuvali ono što je on napravio, već smo mnoge stvari unapredili. Imamo izdavačku delatnost, svoje prostorije i redovno održavamo sastanke. Baš danas smo se dogovorili sve oko 6 kongresa medicine sporta. Kada se setim prvog pre 15 godina i tadašnjih dilema. Nismo bili siguran da ćemo  uspeti da trajemo. Sportska medicina u ovoj zemlji većinu nikada nije interesovala, a mi smo u malom napravili tako puno. Možda je odgovor u tome što je Profesor iz nas izvukao najbolje i pomogao da postanemo ovo što smo danas. Hvala dragi Profesore.

Very relaxed evening. Short meeting and planning for the coming year, and then dinner with friends. The professor came as well. I think he was glad to see us all together, moody and smiling. If not for something else, then because we are guarding the Association he made, 22 years ago. Today, this is a rarity. People do not respect the predecessor’s efforts. Most people think that everything started from them. They are not able to respect teamwork. They have no common results. No honest relationship. It seems that professor and we have had a bit of luck in all of this. Not only that we preserve what he did, but we’ve improved many things. We have publishing activity, own premises and regular meetings. Right now we have agreed everything regarding 6.  congress of sports medicine. I remember the first congress done 15 years ago and the dilemmas in that time. We were not sure that we would succeed. Sports medicine in this country was never interested in the majority, and we did so much in a small space. Perhaps the answer is that the Professor has taken the best out of us and helped us to become what we are today. Thank you, dear Professor.
