You heard the story about the dog who liked the trains, but I suppose never the story of the doctor who likes doping control. Not only that he liked, but he left very successful position of the clinical anaesthesiologist and as I understood correctly even the partial ownership of the hospital. That could’ve been the sad story, but not in Jens case, since he developed one of the best service providing organisation in Germany, put high standards and involve only medical doctors in business. If we know that in other antidoping service providers everybody could work, we could say that was the giant step. Jens also digitalized the whole process and implement good practice of auditing, initially introduced by UEFA. That is quite normal since Jens is coming from UEFA, but he is working in FIFA and not only in doping, but other sphere of medical education. Today we have improvised situation in doping control in order to improve skills of us and our colleagues. I don’t believe that is important to say what kind of personality we are, since I believe that is more important to understand that both of us are belonging the one of the best group of doping control officers on the world. So, it is not strange that somebody prefer doping control then other business if he is working on such high level. Finally, in Jens case excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude.
